Here's a stock answer: buy some and let us know! ;)
I just checked the stats on Thayercraft's website. That is very different stuff! The 6580 has a Volan finish (not silane like the 6116 so it'll be "greener"), is 49% heavier and has a different, even tighter weave. How would it wet out: not a clue. It SHOULD be ok. But there is a BIG emphasis on the SHOULD. I'd call up Thayercraft and ask. They'e a wealth of knowledge.
