I ordered these coated magnets from K&J magnetics based on advise from a thread here or on the Blue Heron forum. I'm following Rob Mack's recommendation of four pairs per side of each hatch. Haven't done the hatches yet. The prices here are much better than I've found elsewhere. Half the price as Lee Valley's equivalent.
