I discussed this topic with Ted Moores and his point of view is that the owner of the book can build one of each design included in the book. These watercraft are to be built for personal use and not for personal gain. When I mentionned copies of his books in Public Libraries, he said that he can only hope the readers and builders are honest people. Plans and books have copyright protection which should be respected.

If someone intends to build boats to be sold, they must contact the author to discuss licensing possibilities.
