The Boat Building Academy in Lyme Regis, UK, have set a new date for the skin-on-frame West Greenland Kayak Building course.

These boats are very rewarding to build and look really fantastic on the water. Many of us have enjoyed taking the kayak out this year; she's a real head-turner, plus it’s easy to carry, light to paddle and glides effortlessly on the water. The fee for the course is £1,950.00. This includes:
• A kayak to take away with you
• A paddle
• Use of all necessary tools
• Instruction
• En-suite shared (two people per room) accommodation
• Three meals prepared for you a day (organic and grown on the farm
where possible)
• Tea and coffee

I was lucky enough to have a week out of the office in June to build the ballistic nylon kayak pictured on the website, it was tremendous fun and I enjoyed it far too much.
