That is a very nice looking boat so far. From the looks of the workmanship and your shop it appears you are no rookie at woodworking. There's a lot of us 'mature' builders here. I'm 54 and a lot of the experts here are that and older. Lots of younger experts too, like those young fellers Kurt and Malcolm. I've found the freely given advise here invaluable. I've canoed all my life but have only started kayaking in the past few years. I'm looking forward to re-doing some multi day backwoods trips in the kayak.
