I love sheerstrakes. I had originally planned to run partial sheerstrakes from the bulkheads out to the ends and glass the cockpit. Wouldn't happen with the Night Heron design. The deck met at too obtuse an angle on a rolling bevel. Actually, it COULD have worked... if I had thought of it earlier in the build. What I did worked quite well though.
