This is a hybrid sof using 4mm ply, glassed to the gunwalds. I wanted a low profile 'lake lounger' with large cockpit and carry handle at either end.
Started out with Kayak Foundry, added some of Nicks maths to the forms and a good eye as to lines. fabricated the keel and chines rather than have solid
sections.
Pics show my wife looking confidend even for her first kayak outing - she immediatly put in an order!. It tracks well and is reasonably stable
Took a few risks I guess but quite pleased with the outcome
