I put a 3˚ bevel on ONE edge of each strip and mark that edge with a pencil check every three feet
as I cut it, so there's no confusion as to which edge has the bevel.

After the strips are ripped for thickness, lay them flat and run one edge past the saw blade tiled to 3˚.

If the saw is set properly and safely with featherboards to hold strips, this is a fast operation.

On my designs, this amount of bevel is enough to strip 90 percent of the hull & deck without hand beveling.
