: I recommend hand beveling with the strip clamped in place on the

I posted this response because I though many of you builders out there may be in a
very small work space as I was, when I started strip building.
I was forced to figure out how to work in a space where I did not have room to work on strips
away from the strongback. I didn't have a long bench or room to move strips around.
So I learned to do everything right on the strongback.
If you have the luxury of having lots of space you may choose to use all that space, but it could actually
slow your work down.
