The plan is to place a few deep cuts 1",( 25.4mm ) apart,
& attach the bamboo to a 1/4" plastic cutting board
w/ bronze screws.The knives go in sharp edge down
& take up very little space, as they are side by side.
The bamboo & plastic cutting boards are both NSF approved for
food prep.
( so no... I don't have to worry about getting sick.)
and I'll use bronze screws to attach every thing together.
I got the bronze screw idea from this BB too...
