I just had to make one for my son and lacking a broken ROS, I actually bought a replacement pad for $20. (I say actually because some folks think I'm thrifty). Of course his is much nicer than mine.
This ones been used mostly for furniture making until recently as this is my first boat. It's especially useful for easing sharp edges. A drawer box can be softened in no time with great control.
