I would like to hear from anyone who has paddled an 11' Great Auk. My mom would like a recreational sized kayak for sheltered waters. Stability and ease of entry are her two biggest concerns, with stability being her biggest concern. Speed is really not important to her. Are there any other strip built designs that are comparable? The other boat I am considering is a CLC 12' Wood Duck Hybrid, but I would prefer a all strip built boat.
