I built a Little Auk strecthed to 11' by increasing the form spacing. With an extra large cockpit opening, it made a very nice rec boat. My wife loves it and it paddles well for a short, very stable boat. I had to add a small fixed skeg at the stern. Used 3/16 strips, 4 oz glass. Very easy for one person to carry . I frequently use it for fishing.
