After I posted this I got to thinking and I am betting he was putting the gloves over the seals up in the cuffs. Tying them down with the velcro closure. These gloves have long cuffs on them.Would not be totally water tight but I am betting it would keep out most water. I think I may try this, it can't be any colder than what I have now. If they don't work they will be just be used in the shop.
