Very nice Daan, I like the simple design with the subtle details :)

I agree, my "designs" tend to grow with the boat, I'll have general ideas when I start, but the details fit the boat as it's built. I'm always on the lookout for interesting wood to add to the boat, never really know where you'll find it, just have to be ready to bring it home when you do. The figured cherry that the Disko Bay has in the fore and aft decks started out as house baseboard that took some serious work to make it the right shape, but it's pretty and worth it :)
