Hello Ken,

I would love to see you build a board. The Malco was designed for Wood Surfboard Supply and they sell the ribs for it. The CNC work is top notch. They cut the ribs for my boards- huge time saver. I recommend trying the kit. The Malco was designed in a board-specific program but I might be able to generate offsets, and can certainly do plans.

It's more like a stand up kayak. The Malco is designed for paddling and surfing. It has a low volume tail for turning quick in surf. It also has a lot of rocker. You might want a flatter board or a displacement board.
