So I gave you a reason to start a new project and spend hours more in the man cave. What's the problem again? :-D

The Malco was designed with paddling in mind, but was intended to be paddled to your favorite surf spot, surf, and paddle home. It has much more rocker than the Lake Superior, a tighter tail (for quick turns), and overall is narrower. I designed the Malco as an all-around board but it is more of an offshore board with surfing capabilities. The hollow nose is for getting on plane in surf. It sounds like the Lake Superior is better suited for your conditions.

I am working on a displacement hull SUP racer, and intend to make two versions: one for flatwater, and one for offshore. Why stop with just one? Don't hold out for those designs because there has to be a prototype first and a bit of testing. Besides, by the time you finish one then I will have your next excuse to build another.

P.S. It sounds like you need to move to the coast!!!
