If it works it works. If the pogies work for you, that's great. I use a GP and a pogie is not good on that. For a lot of people, once those glove fingers get wet and you have wind on them, they get pretty cold. Just stopping that wind chill / evaporative cooling on the fingers seems to work well. Some people 's hands never bother them in the cold too and gloves are all they need.
