Hi Randy,
Sounds like you have a handle on how to finish the deck and coaming assembly. It sounds like the deck is not glassed yet. If this is the case then be careful when you wet the coaming riser and deck to do it all at the same time. Fresh wood that is wet in one area and then wet in another area at a different time will show a line at the intersect of those two areas.
