No way, that's the kind of backyard you get when you're smart, ambitious, talented and successful. But I'll take it as my daily paddle launch place.
Actually, it's a little-known public boat ramp that falls below the radar of most boater here on Clear Lake, which is something like the third busiest recreational boating channel in the entire US. It's a wonderful place to have ten minutes away, as a mile's paddle often yields a variety of possibilities, including an area I call "the washing machine". I've been launching here since the 70's....
