Strip: Speaking of Epoxy...

Hi guys. Can't wait to get to fill coat but I have a first time builder question; Is there a preferred brand of epoxy that is really user friendly, can tolerate 65-68 degree cellar temp and I can apply solo without freaking out too much?
Also, can you suggest a good source for 4,6oz. E-glass? What weave?
I'm glassing the hull and would love to know how you protect the sheer strip cove from resin.
You guys are my mentors and with all the knowledge I've gained from this forum I'm still nervous. Who wouldn't be right?
