Hi Greg- I'm no expert by any means, but I plan on glassing the deck prior to any work on the inside (scraping/sanding). I used an internal strongback (per Nick's book), so I just sealed the deck for some strength, then took it off and put in on the floor in a safe place while I glassed the hull. It's been 5 days since I sealed the deck, so it looks like I'll need to sand the deck seal coat a bit before glassing the deck. After I'm done glassing the deck, I'll pull it back off the forms to work on the inside.
