: Hi Greg- I'm no expert by any means, but I plan on glassing the
: deck prior to any work on the inside (scraping/sanding). I used
: an internal strongback (per Nick's book), so I just sealed the
: deck for some strength, then took it off and put in on the floor
: in a safe place while I glassed the hull. It's been 5 days since
: I sealed the deck, so it looks like I'll need to sand the deck
: seal coat a bit before glassing the deck. After I'm done
: glassing the deck, I'll pull it back off the forms to work on
: the inside.
Todd,
The deck design on your boat is really nice! Mine is very plain by comparison. I am still working on the vertical risers for the coaming. But I expect that I will getting to the glassing stage pretty soon. Your questions are right in line with some of my general concerns.
I am also following Nick's book.
