Acetone is indeed nasty, nasty stuff - highly flammable, and worse, very readily absorbed thru the skin. If you wash your hands with it, you'll smell it on your breath within a minute or so...

In handling epoxy, I always use regular kitchen gloves, the longer the better - they are much tougher than latex or even nitrile disposables. I wear an old long-sleeved nylon windbreaker and splash pants (my daughters call 'em "Dad's 'poxy-pants") For cleanup of uncured epoxy, a citrus-based hand cleaner does the job - works for gloves, tools, and even skin if you get some on you. It's the dust really scares me - for that, it's a respirator with good clean cartridges and lots of ventilation...
