Seriously, I just used a sleeve from Soller. Talk to him about what you're planning and he'll set you up. I've had issues trying to use heat-shrink tubing so I vacuum-bagged it to the cedar core. I didn't realize that his colored sleeves are stiffer than the plain CF. It conformed to the blade but it wouldn't wrap tightly to the loom. It left some ridges on the loom which looked like crap so I filed the loom smooth and then laminated on the uni-CF (2" wide tape). The tape is there to pretty-up the transition from the uni to the pink.
