Hi,

I'm nearing the stripping stages and wanted to plan ahead for the cockpit. The plans for the hybrid night heron call for and include a template for a plywood cockpit apron recess. I'd like to build the apron from strips like i've seen on everyone's full strippers. Could someone point me to a good blog/photo series illustrating the process of creating this apron. More importantly, does anyone see any red flags with doing this instead of the simple plywood apron?
