I just finished with that and used West's Graphite powder. This stuff works well and you need to use very little, like a tiny amount which is nice because it will last forever. Cheap to think I payed 12 bucks for a 12oz can. After the hatch lips were lam'd up I had to sand the visible side which turned the glass grey, but when I joined the boat together I brushed some extra over the hatch lips and that brought the black color back nicely.
