Look for sufficient materials to mix up about a gallon. That is usually the best price for one boat.

It sounds like you won't need it all, but usually the materials are sold in quart and gallon quantities, and the gallon size is cheaper than 3 quarts. So, even if your needs are just a bit over 2 quarts (unlikely for most boats--but you aren't doing the deck) you are spending about the same and having more on hand.

Who knows. You might decide to strengthen the deck with glass after all. Or start on another boat.
