Ohio requires 3" x 3" stickers and 3" registration numbers on each side of the hull plus 2 HIN plates. One exposed and one hidden. But there is a less obtrusive option for human powered boats that can be had. It costs extra, of course.
I just re-registered an 8' sailboat. It cost $38 for three years. If it could be powered by a an outboard motor it would have been only $30. Go figure.
