: Hi all,
: I am almost ready to glass the outside of my boat. I have a gap of
: say 1/4 inch in some areas (mostlly near the ends where the
: curve is the greatest) between the deck and the hull. In the
: present un-glassed state it is easy to flex the two pieces until
: they form a good mating surface. Will I still be able to flex
: this gap closed when the deck and hull are glassed inside and
: out? First time builder here.

If it was mine I would try to flex the two together and use hot glue or whatever so as to get at least the outside glass on while the two pieces were mated. I did not find it a whole lot of fun having to deal with that kind of gap so I think it's worth doing what you can to minimize them before they get locked in by glassing.
