Yeah but you live in snow country, we get lots of silly snow weather often right between snow and sleet. I'm never using klister ever again ;)

I too have proper back country skis, but they are waxless.

I'm also a really lousy skier, so finess is a joke, I have to wear waterproof clothes because I fall all the time, but I enjoy it as long as the snow is deep enough to cushion my falls.

I'm better when the water is wetter ;)
