Hi Mark
It looks like you went stapleless and perhaps paid for it to some extent. From your pics it seems that you are out on the bow as well although with this design it will all be out of the water anyway.
Regarding the stern, From the photos I would think that you are not that far out that it will be a steering issue. if you can live with the asymmetry the boat will probably go Ok. It is rare to see a boat on the water from dead on in anycase.
I will be interested to read further opinions as they are posted.
I would get on with the fun of finishing the boat and enjoying it on the water. The next boat will be more perfect, and the one after that better again :-)
Just an observation, I assume you stripped alternate sides one strip at a time rather than stripping many on one side and then moving across. The former is more likely to achieve symmetry.
