The way he talked, the part that was likely the culprit is inaccessible inside the back of the unit, but it's certainly worth experimenting with timers etc just to be sure. It's one of the modern 'smart' fridges, so it may not work on a timer system at all..
Kayak shaped drip tray! I hadn't quite thought of it in those terms..
Easy enough to get it down, it's on a reduction pulley system. The problem is the pile of kitchen units for the renovation that is in the way..
All in good time.
Once I put a tarp over it, nothing bad can happen where it is, and it'll just wait until I'm ready again.
: But if you are doing the labor, then the only cost is for any
: parts. And a few bandaids for skinned knuckles.
: Congratulations on having the foresight to build a kayak-shaped
: drip tray :)
: About time to get it down and onto sawhorses where you can work on
: it when you have a few minutes. Cover it with a tarp between
: sessions. Once the tarp comes off you'll enjoy the time you
: spend on it. If you leave it suspended you'll never find time to
: dig it out.
