Assuming you're talking about Bill Hamm's Dacron/fiberglass skin, any paint applied to the fiberglass outer layer will get scratched. To hide the scratches it will get, I like to tint the epoxy the same color as the paint. For paint I've been using Interlux Brightsides marine urethane. It's high gloss, easy to apply with a roller/brush/spray and touches up readily. Also, I happen to have a few quarts kicking around from other projects! :)
