Oh I don't doubt it. I think it's good to be exact if ya can ... but for small amounts, I've never had a problem with the method I use ... so I stick with it.
For bigger jobs ... measuring by volume seems to work fine ... and it's not a big deal to get a good mix. But even if the mix is a little off I think there are other things to worry about that may be more important than a slightly less than perfect mix ... like low temperature retardation ... over use of fillers ... over clamping ... poor joint design ... glue starvation due to porosity ... glass layout schedule etc.
