Strip: Pinstrips: Bead & Cove?

Hi all,

I'm beginning to strip the deck of my hybrid night heron using bead and cove WRC in various shades. I have several thin curving pinstripes seperating wood tones and i'm curious as to whether i should just plane the bead/cove off these pieces or keep them on (if the strips even wide enough). My fear is that during sanding the bead and cove pinstripe won't be crisp unless i sand exactly the same throughout the whole strip during fairing. Is this assumption true? Should i just plane off the bead? cove? or both?
