: should just plane the bead/cove off these pieces or keep them on

: the bead and cove pinstripe won't be crisp unless i sand exactly

Hi Damian.
I've now built two boats using only rolling bevel.
I looked at the implications of using B&C before I started and came to the conclusion that
it was only any use for full width strips where they are both of the same wood.
As soon as you start using different colour woods, thin strips on tight radii,
short strip patterns etc. B&C creates more problems than it solves, so I stuck to rolling bevel,
which I think is the simpler system to use. I would dread the thought of trying to
mix the two different methods on the same boat.
