Has anyone actually built one of Nick Shade's Aleutesque strippers and would be willing to provide a review, however brief?

I can't find any info on them searching the forum or google - and Nick's description, as I read it, is best summed up as "well it looks pretty...".
I'm still finishing up the two boats I've been building concurrently, which makes now the perfect time to plan a new project. The desgin aesthetic appeals to me. In fact I find the exemplar on Nick's website downright beautiful, but I'm not sure what to make of a baidarka-style boat that, according to Guillemot-kayaks.com, doesn't do well in rough water. The speed and down-wind surfing capabilities certainly are appealing though...

So - has anyone actually built one from Nick's plans and can comment?
