Try using LESS hardener. I have had success with it.
Robin
: YES!!! I have had West System G5 go bad to the point that it will
: not harden. This happened after quite some time on the shelf in
: tropical conditions. It turns a very horrible color of
: reddish-brown. It would kick a little, but no matter how much
: hardener I used it would not cure.
: I've also had West System 205 hardener go bad the same way- turning
: very dark purple-red and the darker it got the harder it was to
: get it to cure. In that particular case I didn't try as hard as
: above to add more hardener to get it to kick. I just gave up and
: threw it out.
: That said, my belief is that if it cures it's fine. Once it's cured
: it's cured. I'm sure as PGJ said you could split hairs over the
: strength, but if it cures it's stuck well enough.
