Well here it is, no water yet but heading to the pool tomorrow for first test run and some rolling practice. Five months almost to the day of receiving my plans.
Out of water review: I am 6'2" 205 and have to say the Petrel fits great, I did not go with the standard hip plates, I like the feel of the minicell foam better and It gives me a little more room. As for leg and knee fit, the way Nick designed the cockpit recess and deck is perfect for long legs. My knees fit right in the corners of the deck chines. Plenty of room for my size 13 feet as well.
