: Looks like a slow day on the forum, and I'm always interested in
: self-promotion, so here's my latest: She's a skin-on-frame
: Whitehall, for oar and sail. This one is rigged only for rowing,
: as I'm too lazy to build the sail rig. I based her on an example
: in the Mystic Seaport collection.
: She's 13'6" x 47" weighs about 55lbs and is made of
: marine ply and redwood, skinned with 8oz polyester coated with
: tinted Zar. The floorboards are ash, and there's foam floatation
: under the seats. The oarlocks will be added tomorrow.
: Questions and comments welcome, of course!
What are the dimensions on the chines/stringers? Are they round? How thick? They appear to be made from fairly hefty stock.
