Greetings - I'm an intern at the Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary in Sarona, WI. We're hosting a Wooden Kayak Building Camp this summer in June for one week and need to spread the word about this wonderful experience. This is a residential camp for adults so it will be a fabulous opportunity to gain expertise, spend time in the northwoods, and leave with a kayak that can be treasured forever. Remember...you're never to old to go to camp! :) Please share this event with those you think would be interested. Thanks so much!

Join carpenter and kayaker, John Fuller in this Wooden Kayak Building residential camp for adults. No experience is necessary. You will create your own custom-made 17 foot, 40 pound wooden kayak that, with proper care, will last a lifetime! Camp is all-inclusive, covering: all meals, refreshments and snacks; overnight accommodations; experienced woodworking staff; extra optional environmental activities; and all tools and materials to build your own kayak. PREREGISTRATION AND PAYMENT ARE REQUIRED NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, MAY 6th. The cost of camp is $2200/person/kayak. Bring a partner to help build your kayak for an additional $500. Individual rooms, paddles and float and dry bags are available upon request and at an additional cost. We accept registrations on a first-come first served basis, but require full payment to reserve your spot. Call Hunt Hill at 715-635-6543 or visit our website at http://hunthill.org for information and to register.
This camp is limited to 6 participants so register today!

Hunt Hill sits on 400 acres of varied habitats: glacial lakes, tamarack bogs, restored prairie and forests and has all amenities located directly on-site. Guests can watch for eagles and loons down at our private waterfront, investigate several miles of local trails, and explore the beauty and peacefulness of this special piece of property. The main camp features dorm-style overnight accommodations, a rustic library with field stone fireplace, outdoor seating for soaking in the warm sun, home-cooked meals in our dining hall and more.
