In the manual, it calls for epoxied edges on the ply cross sections. However, I've done it both with and without epoxy.
It depends on my mood, how much epoxy resin I have at the time, the plywood I'm using, and the alignment of the planets :)

On the Sea Bee in the manual, I'm using interior grade plywood (eeks!), so a healty coat or two of epoxy on the
edges was a must do :).... And that's all I have to say about that.
