: Was looking into the electric orbital sanders out there and came
: across these to, porter cable 390k and the dewalt D26456. These
: two look and sound the same but different brands. Was wondering

I bought a Bosch like the one shown, at an estate sale. It's a fabulous workhorse: very steady and powerful. It takes 6" discs, which make a huge difference in working area vs. 5". The slow start feature is nice, too, as it allows you to start up with the sander resting on the work. For dust collection I used a radiator hose clamp to fasten my shop vac to the thing, and it works virtually dust free. I also have a 5" DeWalt that's going strong but which takes more time to accomplish its work.
