I've build boats from several of Tom's plans. Pay attention to what looks right and wrong. If it doesn't look right/fit check the measurements again. I've made a lot of adjustments on the fly to get things to fit nice. I've even had to make some half inch adjustments. I'd say those were bad measurements on my part. It is easy to make that kind of mistake. If you drew the sections out any then transfered them to the plywood you can easily check the measurements again. (I make paper patterns first. That way I can build another one without having to make the patterns again.)
