: What is the dye mixed with? Water, vinegar, something else?

We dissolved the dye (three packages in the end) with about a litre and a half of water and 25%vinegar in that. Don't know if the vinegar was necessary as it does say on the package that it is for nylon but I added vinegar to Coreys dye so thought it wouldn't hurt. We bought a whole bunch of dye and different colours so we can do lots of testing with it over the next couple of weeks. I will pst my results then.
