: that wasn't the Kevlar that gave way, that was the glass. I am
: positive that the Kevlar absorbed more epoxy so more weight was
: added than if I used a lighter weave. I put the Kevlar in the
: cockpit more to hold the cockpit "pieces" together
: then next time I accidently do something horribly stupid that
: causes it to want to disintegrate and also to minimize the wear
: and tear around the footpegs. Two layers of 6-oz glass just
: doesn't cut it when ya go over a class 6 rapid.
