I have 10 year old Raka resin and non-blush 350 hardener. Left overs from when I built my boat. The bottom of the kayak had not real damage, but 10 years of use...dents, scratches and keel / bow issues.
I sanded the bottom through varnish showing a bit of weave. I need to fill a couple small spots where wood is exposed. Once these issues are taken care of, Im thinking about a think skim coat of epoxy on the bottom before re-varnish.
question is...any reason to avoid using 10 year old raka epoxy?
