That's quite interesting, and considering the limitations placed on it design wise, it appears
to have an acceptable hull shape. I looked on the folding kayak forum, but nothing was posted there.

It's similar in some ways to the old porta-bote, but that one doesn't fold up like a suitcase,
just along the chines with some sort of flexible hinge.

I can't comment on it's durability, but hopefully the designer will fill us in on that.
