Firstly, I think that you will need more heat to get a good wet out. If you are not able to get temps above 50 then I would consider waiting until warmer weather. You can heat up the epoxy, but the glass and wood will be as cold as air around it. I do not like to use rollers to actually apply the resin as I find that it takes longer than spreading with a squeeqie and then smoothing out with a roller right after. Hence I use only one half of a roller cover (3.5 in.) each coat and I don't like rollers on first coat as they tend to introduce more air.

With the second coat, the temps do not to be as high as first coat, but on first, to get a clear finish, the shop, wood, glass and resin should be at least 75 degrees.
